Overview
On arrival at the marina you will be met by your Captain and Guide for the tour.
Once seated, you will be briefed on the camera settings and use of the camera. Throughout the tour your guide will assist you with the camera. We provide you with a professional level Canon 7d Mark ii camera and a Sigma 150-600 mm telephoto lens. The cameras are mounted on a gimbal attached to a swivel chair. This allows you to effortlessly photograph from all angles. The chairs (only 4) are situated down the length of the boat, in the centre to facilitate maximum stability and clear view on either side of the boat.
To start, we head into the Panamá Canal where you will be able to photograph huge ships and tugs up close.
We then enter Gatun Lake where we will explore pristine rainforest islands and inlets. Here you will have the opportunity to photograph monkeys and an incredible variety of birds.
On all tours there is a good chance of spotting monkeys, caimans, crocodiles, iguanas, butterflies and an array of wild flowers and other wildlife. If you are lucky you may get a glimpse of the very rare manatee.
Throughout the tour, coffee, tea, water and nutritious snacks are available.
On return to the marina, you take away with you all your photos on an SD memory card.
Capture the Moment Photography Tour
This is a 3-hour tour and is booked on a shared basis. On this tour we will explore several islands on which there are monkeys and a variety of wildlife to photograph. You will get to experience and appreciate this wonderful Rainforest environment.

Tours depart at 7:00 am (all year) and 14:00 pm (only Dec-May).
