I sat on the Marina in Gamboa photographing the wildlife as the sun rose and each bird took off in search of its breakfast.
Most mornings I join the birds with my coffee, they are used to me sat quietly with my camera.
After 30 minutes I walked back to the end of the jetty.
A little Blue Heron landed where I had sat, carrying a long stick. He started to move it this way and that as if displaying it to me, he never took his eyes off me as he continued to dance.
After a few minutes he left the stick for me and flew back to his branch.
